KEANE ON CHELSEA "They all seem to self destruct!"

Roy Keane is featured in the media speaking of the title race this season (after realising that he can't cut it as a manager in the Premier League or now the Championship for that matter) and surprise, surprise he has gone for United to win it "comfortably".

However, it's his opinions on Chelsea that have caught my eye. He said of Chelsea and AVB this season:

"Everybody is on about this new young manager but I don't think the manager will be the problem. It's always the players down there, they all seem to self-destruct. They're big pals one minute and the next you hear they're all bickering with each other and players aren't happy if someone else scores."

Is he right? Will he be proven right again this season? I don't think so at all. AVB has spoken of the the group collective at Chelsea this season so I don't think this will be a problem at all.

I think he is right though about last season to a point. When things were going badly for us and players were being brought into the squad for a game and then dropped the week after, I think this is exactly what was happening.

I think that Chelsea insiders will have made AVB aware of what happened and that is why the focus straight away from the word go with Villas-Boas was to point out that the group is important this season.

As for Keane's verdict on United winning the league comfortably, I think he will have no choice but to sit up and take notice with the rest of the doubters this season.

You will see, Chelsea will be back!
