CHELSEA FANS WHAT DO YOU THINK IS REALISTIC THIS SEASON?

So pre-season training has started and it will be a big two weeks for the players ahead of our first game against Portsmouth a week on Saturday.

With the new manager in place who has openly admitted to not making any moves in the transfer market until he has had a good look at the players, so they all have a chance to impress, I just wondered what you the Chelsea fans think are realistic ambitions ahead of the new season.

What do you all see as being realistic targets for us this season? I honestly believe that AVB will push for every single trophy we are competing for as he said it himself. Roman Abramovich wants him to do so and I really think we will so straight away the League Cup will become as important this season.

Think back a few seasons, when Jose won the League Cup beating Liverpool at Cardiff, he said it was an important victory for the group and reaffirmed the winning mentality he was trying to install at the club. This will be the same for AVB and he will pinpoint the first trophy as important as the others.

I still believe (as we all know by now) we need luck on our side for the Champions League and I think realistically we could get as far as the semi-final again. I really hope like the rest of you we can win it, but when it comes to Chelsea and getting the "rub of the green" so to speak in that competition, there always seems to be something that stops us, whether it's our tactics, luck or refereeing decisions.

I believe that realistically we can pull off the clean sweep of domestic trophies this season or two out of three and that should be a realistic aim in AVB's first season. The League Cup and FA Cup will become as important as each other and if AVB can pull the whole squad together and make everyone feel important like he has at Porto, then I believe we have the squad to win both.

The Premier League should also be a realistic target and one we all are looking for us to win this season. AVB comes here with big expectations and if he can motivate our players as much as possible and prepare for each game like we have all heard he can, then I think we could be the team to beat this season.

So I am thinking a clean sweep of the three domestic trophies this season is a realistic aim for us this season.
