MILAN IN FOR £10M DROGBA?

I was looking around for the latest news to come out of Chelsea or about the club we all adore and came across this article in The Mirror which I have to admit, made me sit up and take notice. We all know from my blog this week, that it looks like Didier Drogba will be offered a new deal to stay at Chelsea for two years and for our new manager to try and work out how to play Didier and Nando together.

Well, it seems that AC Milan have money to spend and realise the need for a strong powerful centre forward and have identified Drogba as the man they want with Adebayor as a back up in case Chelsea tell them to bugger off!. The report states that they believe Milan would offer Chelsea around £10m for Drogba to test their resolve.

Now for me I would seriously have to consider it. Don't get me wrong, Didier Drogba will go down in our history as a legend at this club and one of our greatest players (on his day!) but at the age he is now and dependant on how the club see his role this season, they could decide to sell up.

They have to be realistic and wonder just how involved he will be this season. It seems impossible to think of it, but will Didier Drogba become a bit part player this season with most of his appearances being from the bench? Or, do the club believe he can still be the player he has been next season?
