Reported Chelsea targets sign new deals!.

Over the course of the season, Chelsea have been linked with Pepe and Sergio Ramos of Real Madrid. Now I have to say, I never understood exactly why we were in the first place. For me it was purely paper talk or agents trying to negotiate better deals for their players as any real interest from Chelsea would be beyond me with the defensive strength we have at the club.

Anyway, Mourinho and Madrid have been quick to move to get these two tied down to new contracts putting an end to any speculation about moving away from Madrid.

I have to say, Pepe seems overrated and a rash defender to me, Sergio Ramos' strength is playing in the middle of the back four and at the moment we have more than enough cover there so it's no big loss for Chelsea.

The report says that apparently Jose Mourinho approved the new contracts which is interesting as I guess it seems he will be there next season after all!.
