HIDDINK - Already employed by Chelsea!!.

With all the relentless speculation surrounding our manager to come to a conclusion next week as Ancelotti meets the Chelsea board, the name of Guus Hiddink is still being linked with a return to the club. As we all know, Hiddink came into the club at a difficult time after the sacking of Luis Felipe Scolari and was fantastic. He provided stability and let's face it, put our house back in order and led us to the FA Cup in that season.

Hiddink left as Carlo Ancelotti came into the club and that was it as far as we were concerned. However according to The Mirror, it seems that Guus Hiddink remains employed by Chelsea which will spark more intense speculation that he will leave his job with Turkey and come back to the club as manager.

When asked of this revelation he said:

“I don’t want to be called an official adviser by either Ajax or PSV. That role is working very well for me with Chelsea. I have been advising the club since I left Stamford Bridge. I advise them on an occasional basis. They use me as a sounding board.

I can combine that role perfectly with the Turkey job. There is no conflict of interest.”

I can imagine that until Carlo and Chelsea meet, Hiddink's name will continue to be linked with the club as well as being linked with the same position at Ajax. Hiddink is contracted to Turkey until 2012 and buying out that contract wouldn't be a problem if Roman wanted his man.
