With Chelsea's second place confirmed already and our trip to Everton for our final game of the season you have to spare a thought for the fans of Wigan, Blackpool, Wolves, Birmingham and Blackburn heading into the games today because for two of these teams, it's their final curtain call for Premier League football for at least another year.
With literally all to play for, you have to wonder who will become the two sides that join West Ham being relegated?. Wigan on 39 points travel to Stoke, Blackpool on 39 points travel to Man United, Birmingham on 39 points travel to Spurs and Wolves on 40 points entertain Blackburn on 40 points.
You have to say all the sides playing away have hard tasks today but it will come down to whoever wants it more and handles the pressure.
Being a Chelsea fan, we remember what it was like back in the day with our seasons goal to stay in the top league after a couple of relegation's. Thank god those days are long gone now but spare a thought for all those fans who will be on edge until that final whistle blows.
For me, Wolves will beat Blackburn and be safe. Birmingham will force a draw at Spurs and be safe. I hope they win but I can't see Blackpool getting a result at Old Trafford and I can see Stoke beating Wigan. So even though Blackburn will lose at Wolves today, they have 40 points so will also be safe.
My prediction and I hate having to say this because they have been fantastic for the Premier League season, Blackpool will join West Ham with Wigan being relegated.
