"The players believe" - Carlo Ancelotti.

As you can imagine when a manager gives their pre match press conference it can make headlines. The press conference is broken down and you will read various parts of it at different stages, just like what I have done on here.

Yesterday as Carlo Ancelotti spoke, you felt the overwhelming feeling that he and the players finally believe in what could be possible after picking themselves up and winning games again.

It wasn't so long ago that we were hearing talk of making sure we finished in the top four as the target. I said at the time that I couldn't believe what I was hearing and I was right. Chelsea are not out of this title race yet and have taken massive steps in putting ourselves back in touch.

It's seems the events of recent weeks have forced Carlo Ancelotti to admit for the first time in months that Chelsea believe they can fight for the title. He said:

The players believe, and that is good, It means they've got good motivation to play, game by game. Nine points – even if we have a game in hand – is not too easy. They are not too close. But we have a chance. We will have a chance in the future if we concentrate and are ready for the next game. To have a chance we will have to win all the games in the Premier League. That's our aim, to win all nine games. United cannot win all nine if we do that, because they still have to play against us.

Now, though, I'm excited: we have games every three days, in the Premier League and Champions League. I'd be less excited if I didn't feel my team were in good form and motivated, but they are confident But this team is showing the same skill and ability that we were able to use at the start of the season again. If United drop points, we will be ready."
