As much as Carlo Ancelotti is a good man and I have grown to love him being our manager the fact remains, he was brought to the club to win the Champions League, said it in his first ever interview and numerous times but hasn't come close to delivering what he has been asked to do.
No doubt in my mind this morning questions are being asked at boardroom level as the inquest into another failure begins.
Something needs to be done to sort out what's gone on and has been going on. If Roman wants to continue to provide the players he wants to the Manager then Carlo needs to manage the players better. After all it's the same at Milan so why hasn't he been able to do it this season?
Forget this rubbish this morning about being forced to play Torres, we had plenty of problems before he joined the club.
All I know is that either Roman wants to continue as he is and get's the message across to Carlo to manage the players better or he let's his manager take control of player purchases and back room staff and is allowed full control.
Either way, our failure in the Champions League for the second season running indicates changes need to be made sooner rather than later!
