Sir Alex Ferguson has started the verbals going this week ahead of our first leg against United at the Bridge of the Champions League Quarter Final and as usual like most people from Manchester United or their fans seem to be either deluded or have the inability to admit when they have been beaten.
Sir Alex said:
"I think they've had important breaks against us, I really do, I think everyone recognises that in the last four games major decisions have gone their way. But we beat them in the European final. We were the better team in the European final. And we were the better team just a few weeks ago at Chelsea. We have the quality, there's no question about that. We just need a bit more luck. Fortunately everyone is fit that needs to be fit for this game, we have had a brilliant week in that respect and that's good, because it's going to be a massive match."(The Guardian)
I personally believe that Sir Alex needs to get a grip for god sake. Everything pans out of the course of a season. How many more times will United moan and groan about the last four games. United and Fergie are totally blinkered or refuse point blank to admit when they are lucky. Rooney at Wigan the other week should have been sent off for Elbowing someone in the head. Vidic should have been sent off against West Ham on Saturday but got away with a booking instead. Gary Neville should have been sent of at West Brom but wasn't!.
As for saying they were the better team in Moscow, anyone will tell you it was at least level 50/50 and remember it WAS ONLY because we missed the penalty that you won it.
As for the game the other week. It's about 90 minutes of football not 45. You were the better side first half, we were the better side second half and scored the two goals.
As we all know United feel as though they have this devine right to win everything and moan and groan when they lose games. I just hope they have much more to moan about on Thursday morning!
