Torres: "Drogba and I are clever enough to play together".

Fernando Torres is quoted tonight speaking after the game against FC Copenhagen about a possible partnership in our new 4-4-2 formation with Didier Drogba and believes that it's something that can work. He said:

"I think we are mature enough and clever enough to play together.There's no question about this.

It was a good game for us with a lot of chances. We didn't score but we created a lot, so we must be happy because we are in the quarter-final. The main thing is to get chances.

You have to be worried when, at the end of the game, the team didn't create chances. So we can always create chances and it is not very often we will finish a game 0-0. We will score in almost every game."

It's an important fact that Torres makes. We would be more than worried if Chelsea were not creating any chances at all or struggling to forge openings in games. The good thing is that we are. OK, the other night we didn't take our chances but as long we continue to create like Torres says, we are almost certain to score in every game.

As for Torres and Drogba working together, I believe in sticking Torres up on the shoulder of the last defender and Drogba playing slightly deeper and around him, these two can get a fantastic partnership going that can lead us to glory this season.
