Ivanovic has a change of heart?

Branislav Ivanovic has spoken today of being happy to be involved in the team no matter where he is asked to play. Considering before he signed his contract, there were comments made by his agent that he wanted to play in the middle rather than at right back, it seems that Ivanovic realises with the addition of Luiz and the return of Alex, just how much competition for places there is now at Chelsea.

He said:

"I prefer to be on the pitch, I see my future in Chelsea. I want to be ready and to give maximum for the team. It depends on the manager which position. I have this dream. For every player, this is one of the biggest competitions in the world and it would be the biggest success in football, winning the Champions League.

I think we cannot say goodbye to the title. But, at the same time, we cannot leave the Champions League on the side.

We have all the players fit, a good squad, and we have to use all our power to try to fight until the last moment in all competitions."

It will be really interesting to see how Ancelotti deals with everyone fit in defence and who he plays. I believe Ivanovic should be a cemented in the right back position with Ancelotti to choose two from three (Terry, Alex, Luiz) in the middle.
