Carlo on United in the Champions League.

Carlo Ancelotti gave his pre match press conference yesterday and of course was asked of the Champions League draw as Chelsea were drawn against Manchester United. Immediately for all of us our thoughts turned back to 2008 and Moscow. No one at Chelsea will ever forget that night and how it felt. So the press asked the question of revenge.

Carlo said:

'In my opinion I don't have to have revenge because I was not there, but for my players I don't know, I don't think it is a good motivation to have revenge.

It would be a fantastic motivation to look forward to the future. We have four games to play to reach the final in London and I think that if Chelsea are able to reach the final there we could have good revenge for 2008.

I don't want to consider the past, the past is the past and every game has a different story. We have to prepare well this game, we know them, everything, they know us, everything, so there is no surprise.

I am not happy, I am not disappointed. I am realistic. We have to play against Manchester United, we will be excited to play against them, very excited because also we have to play in the Premier League. It will be difficult obviously but we want to move on and reach the semi-finals.

It is a good time for us to play this game, We have to play eight or nine games in April and I think we are ready to play this game. Every three days obviously we have to maintain the good condition in the squad, keep players without injury because I need to use all the players in that moment.'
