I want to start this blog post by saying that it will take a HUGE amount of money for Chelsea to sign Gareth Bale from Spurs. I cannot see Spurs even entertaining any bids for Gareth Bale and will stand firm stating that he is simply "not for sale!".
However, bearing in mind Harry Redknapp is their manager, bearing in mind he always has an eye for a player and bearing in mind Roman Abramovich is willing to splash whatever it takes to get his man once again, I just wonder if there will be a substance to this come the summer.
It's no secret that Roman Abramovich and the club are looking to bring the overall age of the squad down and there is already an argument that Luiz, Ramires and Torres have been brought in as long term replacements of John Terry, Frank Lampard and Didier Drogba. Gareth Bale at his age would be an investment and most importantly of all, would fit the new ruling about homegrown players.
It's fair to say that we have struggled down our left hand side this season. Ashley Cole is playing well but it's the position ahead of him that concerns us. Zhirkov has never really produced on a consistent basis and Florent Malouda's form has dipped to what it was like when he struggled to find his feet at the club when he first signed.
It's my opinion that Gareth Bale would be a fantastic addition to our squad if these rumours are to be believed and Roman pulls out the stops to get his man. However, I can imagine Spurs will fight tooth and nail to keep him.
KTBFFH.
Hahahahahahaha! Chelsea are a joke club they really are! We would never do business with you, don't you get it?
ReplyDeleteIf Bale does decide to leave in the future it will be for one of the truely great clubs in Europe, not a tin pot outfit with no history who got lucky with a billionaires money. You and Man City are exactly the same, spending way beyond your means to cheat the game and all the true fans.
Bale is Spurs, world class and simply too good for
Chelski.
COYS!
