Josh McEachran has impressed virtually everyone this season breaking into the first team squad and also into the England Under 21 set up. He played really well AGAIN the other day for the U21's against Italy and Aston Villa's Marc Albrighton has stated that McEachran is the future of English football. He said:
'I've seen him play before and there's something about him. He was absolutely superb. It was about the 85th minute when he first gave ball away. He is just amazing, a superb player.(Source:Daily Mail)
What catches the eye is he's just so composed on the ball. He is the future of English football, no doubt about it. He has a massive future ahead of him.'
I know on here that many of you that post comments on my articles have been calling for Josh to be given more starts in our first team. However, I think it's important to remember his age and to make sure we do not play him in far too many games to early so that we more or less burn him out by his mid twenties.
One thing is for sure, we all know how good he is now and with development over the next couple of seasons, we all know just how good he could be.
As for being the future of English football?. Let's hope so!
