Luiz on Chelsea.

In todays press conference, David Luiz was officially introduced as a Chelsea player. He also had the chance to speak of his move to our club and what is has been like since he arrived. He said:

"I am very happy here at Chelsea, I'm settling well, Everyone made me welcome and I am looking forward to being a player for Chelsea.

Every player likes to play, to be part of the team, and during my career I have been tried in different positions. I am just happy I can help regardless of which position it is.

I want to learn the philosophy of the club, learn how the club likes to go forward, and work with the aim to become a better player.

Usually the strikers get the spotlight because they are the ones that bring the joy and the goals but I am just happy to be here to help Chelsea conquer all their aims and be successful in my new career here".

It's good to hear that a new player has found it easy to settle in at the club and is looking forward to learning more about us. Like I said before, He really impressed me last Sunday and hopefully he can build on that on Monday night knowing he will start the game.

The good thing is that be the sounds of it, he is just happy to play and isn't too bothered as to what position around the back four. Like Carlo said, he provides an option to rest other players knowing Luiz will come in and do a great job.

Excellent signing for me. Let's hope he continues to impress us all on Monday.
