Ferdinand "'Wow, they've really gone for it!"

Rio Ferdinand has spoken of his surprise at Chelsea's spending in January but has revealed that he doesn't believe they will settle at Chelsea until next season. In the interview in the Guardian he said:

"The Torres deal did make me think 'Wow, they've really gone for it, But will those transfers really improve Chelsea this season? I don't know. Next season, I would say yeah, they will. But it's hard to settle in quickly in January"

I do agree with Ferdinand that it does take some time to settle into a new club but it's been nearly a month now for both Torres and Luiz at Chelsea. They have had important time playing games and had their initiation and should now feel part and parcel of the club.

JT spoke the other day about the two of them taking in extra training and the other players responding to that and training with them so by all accounts, everyone is doing what they can to help both players.

I just wonder if we are going to see the two of them start the game tomorrow. Luiz HAS to start for me and so does Torres. What better way to help settle at our club than for Luiz to play an important part in keeping a clean sheet and for a Mr Torres to score his first goal for the club and the winner against United!.
