Arnesen's pop at Arsenal.

Frank Arnesen, Chelsea's sporting director has been featured in an interview published yesterday in The Independant and in speaking of Chelsea's recent spending has reiterated Roman's belief in the Academy. He also took time out to have a pop at Arsenal, which is something that doesn't go a miss to liven things up!.

Arnesen was asked about our recent spending and explained that spending money leads to winning trophies. He said:

"The most important people are the people at the top of the club, who own it, They have the philosophy. Arsenal have their philosophy and we have ours and we stick to it.

Abramovich believes in youth. But he demands that you will win so you have to sign players from outside. If you want to be top you need to hire the best players from outside. If you go with the youth you will probably not win a lot of trophies. If you don't want to win trophies and want to be involved in the Champions League, then OK, you go with youth."

So light of his comments which I must admit, the last part doesn't make sense!, I wanted to ask you the supporters reading this post a question based on his comments. I would like you to also explain your answer and opinion as it would be interesting to read. So the question is:

How long can you wait to be successful in the League or would you prefer to speed up the process by paying money for big names/world class players?
