Luiz IS the only one in Jan. Is this enough?.

The David Luiz transfer to Chelsea has gained momentum in recent times and more or less came to a head over the weekend. Speaking after we beat Bolton 4-0 last night, Carlo Ancelotti was asked about the imminent signing of the player and for the first time admitted that we are trying to sign him and that he would be the only player we are looking to bring into the club in this January transfer window.

Carlo said:

"I think that we are trying to find a solution," He is a good player, a very good player, young, and now we have to wait and see. We have not agreed, again. We will try, but if it's not possible, nothing has changed.

Now, he is the only signing that we will try to do. We have to see."

Looking back on recent weeks, we had been linked with Steven Pienaar to which Carlo denied even talking to the player, linked with a mega money move for Sanchez and also Simon Kjaer last weekend in case the Luiz deal never went through.

Alot of you have aired your opinions on all these players, especially on Luiz after I posted a video of the player and what he could bring to Chelsea. Now with the confirmation that a deal hopefully will be agreed I want to hear from you all again.

For me, it's very difficult to look in January at areas we need to improve and get the right players in. Let's be honest and realistic here, if all our players are fit we can all name our first eleven. I will now. Cech, Ivanovic, Alex, Terry, Cole, Mikel, Lampard, Essien, Anelka, Drogba and Malouda.

I think we can all agree that this is possibly our best eleven give or take one position (Mikel). So imagine how hard it is for the club to identify someone to come in and take a start from any one of those players if they sign in Jan. Do you think that Luiz would command a start in front of Alex, Terry or Ivanovic when he signs?. I don't.

It's all well and good for people to come on here and reel off a list of top European names or promising youngsters, but again I urge you all to be realistic here. We have to think of the future of the club and take into effect the new UEFA financial fair play ruling and also the homegrown ruling before any moves for players can be identified.

So there you go, I have had my say and now it's time you for all to have yours. With Carlo confirming that it will be just Luiz that Chelsea are looking to bring into the club and not anyone else, I am wondering how you all feel about the news.

So I am asking you the question:

Are you happy with just Luiz or do we realistically need more?
