Hasslebaink urges Chelsea to sign Aguero now!

Chelsea legend Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink has urged Chelsea to spend as soon as possible and sign Sergio Aguero. Hasselbaink sees the Argentinian front man as an ideal signing that would help save our season and he is quoted in the STAR here by saying:

“This boy is on fire right now. People talk about strikers in terms of how many goals they will score – but he has ­everything. I really like the player – and, if I was Chelsea, I would take him now. Atletico are asking for between £30m and £35m. I say buy him because he’s still only 22. They can’t go wrong.

Aguero has the temperament for the Premier League. I don’t think he would need a lot of time to settle. The way he’s built and how quick he is makes me think of Romario – and he wasn’t bad was he? But Aguero works harder than ­Romario.

He’s not shy of ­working hard for the team. That’s something you need to have in the English ­competition. He will be a ­success in this country, that’s for sure.”

With City making their move the other day to sign Dzeko this could be the ideal time for Roman to make a move for Aguero. We all know he recently signed a new deal in Spain but with a reduced release fee so I would make a move sooner rather than later.

I think Jimmy is right on this one. Aguero could be a fantastic signing for Chelsea, but then again would Roman be prepared to spend huge money for a single player once again?
