I am just wondering if any of you Chelsea fans reading this play any kind of Sport at all?. The reason I am asking is because I used to play football myself until around five years ago when during a game I was kneed in the lower back and due to injury I was forced to quit playing.
I spent three weeks off of work as I couldn't stand up and when I returned to work I was advised that for future, if I wanted to continue playing (even though at the time I had hoped I had some chance of playing again) I would need to take out my own insurance cover to protect myself if something this like was to happen again.
Of course I didn't have any insurance but it opened my eyes to the possibility of having some kind of peace of mind that you will be protected while taking part in the sport you love.
Now whether it's Football, Rugby or any other kind of Sport you love doing then I suggest you head over to who offer you sports team insurance.
If you are a keen Cricketer and are keen to play following the success of the England side in the Ashes or you play already and are looking forward to getting going again in the Summer then make sure you team has Cricket club insurance.
If you or your club already has an insurance premium then you do have the option to take out sports top up insurance as an option.
Don't take for granted playing sport while you can and make sure you think of personal Sports Insurance just in case you will ever need it.
For me, I had to stop playing but there isn't a Saturday that goes past when the season is on that I don't miss the banter of being with the lads and playing football.
