Chelsea's established stars including Cech slated!!

I was reading this ridiculous article by Mirror columnist Oliver Holt and I have to say it seems to be as if he has nothing else better to write to it's target Chelsea once again. This time he has Petr Cech in his sights. He says:

There is much talk about the players that Chelsea need to sign after their recent struggles but maybe attention should also be paid to the players they need to discard. It is becoming increasingly obvious that some of their established stars are living on their reputations and that a modest clear-out is needed to restore some vitality to the side.

Goalkeeper Petr Cech is just one example of a man who was once a star and who now appears to have become a liability. Increasingly rooted to his line and reluctant to venture out to clear danger, he is a shadow of the keeper he used to be and an unsettling presence for the back four.

If Chelsea are to have any hope of reigniting their Premier League title challenge, January needs to be a busy month at Stamford Bridge.

Does he really believe in what he has written?, Doesn't he consider the fact that Chelsea have been hampered by injuries to key players at the same time?, Can he not cast his mind back to the beginning of the season where we had everyone fit and firing and took the League by storm?, Would the same questions be being asked now?, Does he honestly believe that Chelsea will remain outside the top four and suffer their worst finish to a season in years?

I don't, and it will interesting to see what will be written come the end of the season. I have a feeling Mr Holt will be eating his words.
