Chelsea linked to £6m Niko Kranjcar?

In the Daily Star this morning, they have run an article stating that Chelsea have an eye on Tottenham's Niko Kranjcar after Harry Redknapp has said he can leave Spurs at the right price.

Now I think anyone that follows football and especially the Premier League knows that things haven't gone the way the player would have expected and he hasn't played anywhere near enough there so I just wondered if this is just another example of the players agent using our name to gain his player a better deal somewhere else or if there is in fact any truth in this at all?.

There is no question he is a good player and very talented. An important part of the Croatian national side, he will have no shortage of offers. However, once again I am wondering where he could fit in. He can play in the middle or wide right but do we have enough there already?
