Breaking news tonight that Chelsea have had a bid worth 52m Euro's rejected by Atletico Madrid from Sergio Aguero and Diego Godin. The BBC has covered the story here.
For me it's very interesting because as you can imagine the rumours and speculation will run wild now until the window closes at the end of this month, but after Carlo spoke last night and stated that Luiz was the only one, it now seems as though Carlo was pulling our leg or in fact he isn't aware once again of the Owner's intentions.
The key point here that is made by the BBC in their article is a quote from a so-called Chelsea Spokesperson who said:
However, if this is in fact the case and Chelsea have bid 52m Euros then the news should excite us all. The fact that the club are seriously considering investing in the squad once again with players of that ability is surely a good sign for Chelsea. The fact the bid has been rejected could trigger a wealth of activity with the club looking at other "big" targets to come in before the window closes.
One thing is for sure, we will carry on being linked with all sorts of names but until we hear official word from the club, it's anyone's guess!.

"We never comment on transfer speculation, no matter how wild it is,"So what are we to believe? Has Carlo sold us a fib just to take the focus away from what the club are really doing? Or is this once again a case of the players agent and club looking to use our name once more in order to try and obtain the biggest price/fee for their player with news of a bid being rejected by Madrid from their rivals Real'?.
