It seems (and I have to say I am not surprised after seeing his reaction at the time) that Florent Malouda is in danger of missing Spurs, United and Arsenal if as expected after being asked to review the "incident" with Phil Neville on Saturday, Referee Lee Probert decides that Malouda deserved to be sent off for slapping Neville in the face.
If he is banned it will be another blow to Chelsea as we look to get our form back on track. I have no complaints about the foul and the fact that got our free kick, it was Malouda's reaction to the tackle that was stupid.
Along with Essien's pointless tackle on Dempsey against Fulham, Malouda's reaction was petulant and could like Essien, be banned and force Carlo into changes to our side which are needless and expensive.
I can understand players becoming frustrated with what has been happening but incidents like this one don't help.
Let's hope he gets a talking to and nothing more and the players stop all this nonsense on the pitch.
