Gourlay speaks and speaks well!.

Chelsea Chief Ron Gourlay spoke to the Official Website about our form of late and has calmed the speculation about Carlo's future and has insisted their is no panic inside Stamford Bridge.

He said:

"We've been doing so well for so long now, and you hit a couple of bad results but it doesn't mean to say great players have become not great players in a matter of weeks.

Last week the signs were there that we are picking up again and we've got some of our key players back, which is very important to us.

It's very difficult to win every game in our league, an incredibly competitive league, and to score three, four, five goals every week is impossible. We've had more than our fair share of injuries, now our guys are almost all back again and hopefully we can kick on and have a good run-in now which is important.

Things had been going very well, confidence was high and then we lost three or four of our key players and hit some bad results. There's more stories outside the club than in it."

Like I said a great interview with Gourlay and hopefully it should put an end to the rubbish being written about Carlo and his future. I have said it before time and time again, United, Arsenal and City are above us now ONLY because of our run of form. We've slipped up and that's the only reason.

Like he says, now our bigger players are back we should look to get back to playing the fast, flowing attacking football, scoring plenty of goals as we were so used to seeing in the last 12 months.

Just remember the important point he makes at the end. "There are more stories outside the club than in it".
