Chelsea won't be signing Tevez

As we all know by now Carlos Tevez has handed in a transfer request and stated he has played his last game for Manchester City. Now as you can imagine the press are running the story this morning and stating that if Tevez was to move the only side he would move to that is left is Chelsea.

I would like to point out a major stumbling block in all of this and that's the fact that Manchester City will not sell players to one of their direct rivals. So that rules Chelsea out of the running.

Not only that, but Tevez is their highest paid player as per a statement released by City yesterday. Bearing in mind Yaya Toure' is on a reported £200k per week salary then god knows what Tevez is earning at City. Do you honestly think that Chelsea will want to bring him into the club on a higher salary than JT, Lampard and Drogba for example?. I just can't see it.

Don't get me wrong, anyone who understands football will respect Tevez as a player. His work rate is second to none and his eye for a goal is fantastic. You could imagine Tevez up front for Chelsea fitting in straight away next to Drogba. Anyone would love to have Tevez in their side.

The fact that he claims home sickness and the fact that he has fallen out with the United Board and now the City board rings alarm bells for me and would for anyone else who are interested in signing him.

Real Madrid are believed to be watching the situation at City along with Chelsea. Real would be a viable option more than likely for the player and for City themselves as selling to one of their direct rivals would show a sign of weakness as they are trying to portray themselves as a buying and not selling club.

It's because of the reason's above that I believe Carlos Tevez will not be signing for Chelsea so ignore whatever is being written or will be in the next couple of days.
