Arsene Wenger's dig again at Chelsea!.

Arsene Wenger has aimed another dig at Chelsea, United and City by stating that he would never buy world superstars while he is in charge at Arsenal, lives within his means and has accused us of financial fair play again!.

He said:

"You look at clubs who lose £100million or £150m, and if we do that we go bust. We pay what we can afford. I'm amazed that people are amazed that we do that. We face rivals who do not respect financial fair play. Instead of us being accused, maybe people should look somewhere else."

Pretty much par for the course from Wenger once again. I wonder if he would be having the same "pop" at Pep Guardiola and Barcelona ahead of their Champions League game coming up in the New Year?.

Let's face facts here, if Arsenal didn't buy the Emirates or have to move, they would be spending money left right and centre. They didn't and we all know what has happened since.

You do have to hold your hands up and admit that maybe we would feel a hell of a lot better knowing we can live within our means but at the end of the day with all the TV money coming into the Premier League, and because of spending by others and to break the domination of the likes of Liverpool in the 80's and Manchester United in the 90's of course clubs will spend money to improve their squads to compete.

If Arsene Wenger was told that a Billionaire wanted to buy Arsenal and he would have the chance to spend the likes of £100 Million on players etc then do you honestly think he wouldn't take it!?

Expect more of all this from him ahead of the game on Monday night.
