This evening Chelsea take on Spartak Moscow at Stamford Bridge in game four of the group stages. With three wins out of three so far, Chelsea have a chance to equal their best ever start to a Champions League campaign and qualify as winners for the round of 16.
Carlo Ancelotti has called for the team to get the job done so we can focus on a busy Premier League period ahead of us and with Malouda, Lampard and Bosingwa missing expect a single change to be made tonight with Kalou in for Malouda.
This is no easy game tonight and we need to remain focused on getting the right result but with the way we have been playing you have to expect to Chelsea to win tonight.
Spartak will come to Chelsea with nothing to lose. They are confident of securing second place in the group to qualify but have already stated that they will come to the Bridge and have a go tonight. Chelsea need to be solid and make sure any threat Spartak offer tonight is dealt with.
I have to say, I just can't see any danger tonight. Cech is in outstanding form, and overall our defence has stood firm in recent weeks apart from the Benjani header last weekend. Expect Carlo to name an unchanged back five tonight in Cech, Ivanovic, Alex, Terry and Cole.
I also expect our midfield three to remain unchanged with Mikel holding, Essien and the impressive Yury Zhirkov next to Essien in the middle.
I predict Carlo will look for Kalou to come in for Malouda and line up next to Drogba and Anelka.
For me tonight is all down to how Chelsea take to the game. Of course any Champions League nights can be tight and tense affairs but in this case tonight expect a much different game to the one we saw in Moscow. If Chelsea start on the front foot, playing with a high tempo I am sure Spartak will not be able to live with us.
An early goal could see the floodgates open by half time or early in the second half and then expect Carlo to make changes to rest players ahead of Liverpool on Sunday.
So all in all I hope its a walk in the park tonight and Chelsea do a professional job. Hopefully an early goal to put them on the back foot and then more goals in order to get the likes of Van Aanholt, McEachran and Sturridge important minutes on the pitch.
4-0 Chelsea. Drogba(2), Anelka and Kalou.
