Chelsea fans - What's your view on Chelsea at the moment?.

I was reading this article in the Telegraph where the Author looks at five factors that suggested things would go wrong against Sunderland on Sunday and the same five reasons that suggest our title defence could be "on the slide". The five reason they state are, 1) Frank Lampard, 2) John Terry, Didier Drogba, 4) Ray Wilkins and 5) Lack of squad depth.

The article obviously speaks of Lampards ongoing injury problems, Terry missing out the back four left "glaring holes" in our defence, Drogba's Malaria and the fact he needs to rediscover his form, Wilkins departure has effected the players and fans alike and finally a lack of squad depth with no real first teamers to call upon apart from Kalou.

Of course reading that, it asks the questions that are staring at us right in the face. Any team would miss Alex, Terry, Essien and Lampard from their starting line up but I do feel its unfair on Sunderland to take anything away from their performance. Even still they are a big big miss.

So far this week there has been suggestions (covered in my Daily Drivel every morning) that it's because of Wilkins, cost cutting, lack of squad depth etc.
