The apparent "Dig" at Roman and Ron cost Wilkins his job.

We all know what has happened to Ray Wilkins and there has been plenty of press coverage about it as we all know and now a new assistant has been appointed it's time for everyone to move on I guess but I was taken a back by a report that appeared on Thursday in the Fulham Chronicle that stated Wilkins snapped back at Roman and Ron in a meeting and it cost him his job.
"Apparently" in the meeting a matter arose and Wilkins made a comment to the two and reportedly said:

"Well, if you’d ever played the game you’d know otherwise..."

First of all it made me chuckle, then I thought to myself fair play to Wilkins. I still can't understand the situation but this goes some way to gaining some sort of understanding of what happened. It's not the first time that you can imagine someone spoke out of turn and shown the door.

For Wilkins, with his ties to Chelsea for 37 years or so it's still a shame as he knows what he is talking about!.
