This statement by Carlos Tevez today has made me laugh. He had a row with Mancini the other day at half time in a recent game and it was that bad, they had to be pulled apart by people in the dressing room. As a result, Tevez has spoken of how he might quit the game and that he isn't enjoying life playing football. He said:
"I have been playing many games this season, and my body is feeling it. I am tired. I started to play when I was really young and I have always fought so much but now I'm feeling the effort. I'm an old guy now, and I started to think about some stuff. For example, I am less tolerant as a person today than I was a few years ago. Then I think - what happens if I quit football as long as I am okay in my life?So let me get this straight!, You aren't enjoying life as a footballer earning more money in a couple of months that most of us would ever see in a life time?
When I talk about quitting, I mean quitting football, not just the national team. But at the moment I still don't know if this is going to be in one month, one year, three or five years. I have the idea of quitting in my mind. Maybe one of these days, I will just wake up and say no more football.
My family but also my body are starting to feel the effort. I have worked and fought so hard, and I would love to enjoy my football. I have been playing in England for five years, and I have not spent a single Christmas nor New Year with my family.
Let me tell you I am not enjoying the life of a footballer."
You aren't enjoying the fact that although you haven't seen your family over Christmas and New Year for a while they are being looked after by the money you earn and will have a more than comfortable life compared to most people where they live for the rest of their lives!?.
You aren't enjoying training for just two hours each day and being paid for playing football as so many people would give their right arm to be paid to play the game we all love so much!?
You aren't enjoying the stardom that comes with the fact he is Carlo Tevez and playing in the Premier League which is watched worldwide by millions of people?
Finally that you are tired!? I can imagine training for five days a week and playing 90 minutes on a Saturday and possibly one game in the week would really tire you out. After all on average its between 11 and a half hours to a thirteen hour week!.
Why don't you put your feet up eh?!
I can't stand the bloke and before Citeh fans bombard me with comments that he scored the winner against us and all that rubbish, just think about it, what would you lot do if he turned up to training on Weds and said "that's it I am quitting as I am tired!". I hope the bloke does quit!
KTBFFH!
I just hate him so much, and whatever comes from his mouth is a shit!
ReplyDeleteWhy is he unhappy about not seeing his family? He was running a girlfriend in this country when his other girlfriend was having his baby in Argentina and he seemed happy enough then. Especially when he was slating JT for knocking around with someone else (which turned out to be wholly untrue). Maybe he's just been caught out flat lying once too often. Hypocrisy makes you unhappy I guess.
