LAMPARD: Will be fit for Saturday.

Frank Lampard will be fit for West Ham on Saturday as per Carlo Ancelotti, reported in the Daily Star this morning. Carlo is quoted in response to Lampard's news and the accusations that he has put club before country by missing out on England on Friday night and Tuesday. He said:

“For sure, Frank will be fit for the West Ham game. No, we didn’t decide at the start of the ­season to do this now. After the Stoke game, Frank was in a lot of pain. So he decided, ­after talking to the club doctor, to resolve and remove the ­problem ­immediately.”

So its great news for Chelsea that Lamps will look like not missing any games for us. It was obvious to me at the game anyway that he hasn't performing to the standard we all expect from him and something was wrong. When he was taken off early into the second half we all knew something was up deep down.

The thing is there will be some rival fans out there that will point the finger and state if Ancelotti knows already he will be fit on Saturday to face West Ham then why not England on Tuesday!?.

People need to remember that it was only last Monday he had his operation and it just needs time to heal. Given the additional days recovery by not playing on Tuesday will aid his recovery and will be ready for West Ham. I am sure the West Ham fans would want him to play against them anyway at Upton Park as it's another chance for them to vent their anger at him!.

Just like Frank will be looking forward to getting out there, bagging a few goals to keep em quiet!. Let's hope he IS ready for Saturday and has no reaction to his operation.
