So here are the Chelsea news updates on Sunday 5th September 2010 including: Rhys Taylor extends his loan at Crewe, Romelu Lukaku apparently snubs any move to Chelsea and Ashley Cole's flat is burgled.

First this morning to Chelsea youngster Rhys Taylor and his loan at Crewe. Initially Taylor joined Crewe on loan on a short term deal but the club has reached an agreement with Crewe to keep him there until the end of the season. Crewe Manager Dario Gradi has said:

"Chelsea have been tracking him and they're pleased with him and pleased with us and he's happy here. He's done well, he's very quick and he keeps the ball out of the net."

Taylor himself has spoken of the new agreement. He said:

"My plan was just to get through it and play and do as well as I could and I think the manager now knows that I can do alright in this league, I've played more games in this month than all of last season and maybe two seasons so it's good for me to be playing."

A common statement from the Chelsea youngsters these days!. At least Taylor has a chance to impress and is looking like he is taking his chance. We wish him luck for the rest of the season!.

Now to hot-shot and one of the most sought after youngsters in Europe Romelu Lukaku. It has been reported during the summer that Chelsea were interested in the player and Didier Drogba had been in touch with him but it seems now that he has had a change of heart. When asked about a possible move away from Anderlecht he is quoted as saying:

'If I had my way, I would go to Real Madrid.'

Finally today to Ashley Cole. With his divorce finalised on Friday Cole is looking to settle down with his football and concentrate with life on the pitch but unfortunately its the off the pitch drama's that seem to continue for Cole. This time his new flat has been burgled while he has been away with the England team. It seems almost £350,000 of Cole's belongings have been taken.
