MANCHESTER United will taste victory in the race for the Premier League title this season...and you, too, could enjoy a win and collect a colossal £10million thanks to Britain's best football results prediction game, soccermillionaire.com.
Sir Alex Ferguson's side will snatch back the top-flight crown from Chelsea and will record a 3-0 victory over Premier League new boys Newcastle at Old Trafford on the opening day of the new season.
That's according to former West Ham and Charlton manager Alan Curbishley, the new expert pundit giving you a helping hand with your predictions here at soccermillionaire.com.
Curbs knows the game inside out and is one of the country's most experienced football managers with a vast knowledge of the Beautiful Game and an encyclopedic insight into hundreds of top footballers. Each week he'll be casting an eye over the forthcoming fixtures to predict the results and give you an even better chance to scoop massive money! Check out Curbs' advice for a steer and you a could hit a huge, life-changing jackpot with the country's most exciting football results prediction game.
Curbs sees the Premier League shaping up as last season in terms of the key protagonists.
"Chelsea will be as strong as ever and welcome back Michael Essien back from a long lay off with injury and they suffered with Ashley Cole and others not being fit last season as well yet they still managed to last the distance and win the Double," said Curbs. "But this time I see United being strong and I think they may just win it."
Arsenal, Aston Villa, Spurs, Manchester City, Liverpool and Everton will feature at the top end of the table, adds Curbs, but it's the red half of Merseyside who are in for a disappointing season.
"I think Liverpool are in a period of transition and while they may well crave Champions League football I don't see them challenging and will have to look over their shoulders. Everton tend to exceed expectations and I think they'll do that this time around too.Curbs' thoughts on the Kop giants are echoed in his prediction for the visit of Arsenal in the opening game of their season -- he goes for a 2-1 win for Arsene Wenger's Gunners. Chelsea, too, will win comfortably at home to West Brom, with Curbs settling on a 4-1 prediction for that game. And his former club West Ham will suffer defeat at Aston Villa, going down to a 2-1 reverse, he says.
City have lots of financial resources obviously but I think they may have too many players. So much has changed as that club at every level and I think it'll be a season or two before they become a real force. I see the top four as it was last season with Spurs and Man City fighting for fourth."
Run the rule over Curbs' other predictions and see if you agree. Of course, you might want to follow your own path...the decision is all yours.
