Ok so we all know the Torres situation. I have been writing on here for weeks now about Torres and his future..It has culminated in today my earlier post about the bets on Torres coming to Chelsea being suspended by one bookmaker and Abramovich making big waves in the transfer market.
Since then Roy Hodgson spoke to press today and mentioned Fernando Torres. He was asked about the constant reports that Torres was unhappy at Liverpool. This is what he said:
"I know nothing about that as far as I know. He's looking forward to coming back here, he's back on Monday, He's enjoying a holiday and a well deserved break, I don't think he's had one for three years. He's spending a lot of time with his family. As far as I know he's keeping a very low profile and not really speaking to anybody. But he has told us that he's looking forward to Monday and getting back to work.To me anyway this seems a remarkable turnaround from Hodgson. He only said the other day that he "has a problem with the club" so to now say he is happy to stay at Liverpool this season is strange.
He's looking forward to playing for Liverpool next season. That's what I know and I would suggest that any other reports are erroneous."
I have to wonder and ask the question:
Is it all a smoke screen?
foam from the mouth, if a good offer actually arrives on the Liverpool board tale from a team in the Champions league then he will go.
ReplyDeleteHow is he going to 'start training Monday' when he's injured?
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't say he is training on monday. It says he is going back to work, which probably means reporting back and continuing his treatment. But feel free to make up your own words, put them in brackets and pretend they were in the article. Douchebag
