First to news surrounding the French National team after their shambolic World Cup in South Africa. Everyone knows what happened out there so new man at the helm Laurent Blanc has taken over the management of the team and has stated that everyone will have their slate wiped clean for a new start under his management. Finally in todays shorterned Daily Drivel there is one rumour which I find hard to believe that is doing the rounds at the moment. Don't get me wrong it would be fantastic if it came off but I think this one is the agent trying to force a move back home for Brazilian Robinho!.
The rumour is that Chelsea are looking to loan Robinho from Manchester City and would be happy to pay the players wages in full a reported £150k per week. Robinho had already been offered to Valencia but they were unable to pay the weekly wage so that option was scuppered. Its also thought that Liverpool would be happy to take him and pay half his wages...

"Some players who were in South Africa will not be chosen if I decide they are not the best in their position, But I shall select them if I think they are the best available. I can't act as if nothing happened in South Africa, I followed the events with great sadness.All Anelka needs to do is concentrate on his football at Chelsea and I am sure he would be back in the French squad sooner rather than later.
I was disappointed by the results and I was particularly shocked by some behaviour. Those responsible are many but it's not up to me to say if sanctions will be taken. My problem is to put together the best team with the best players. I won't be the bogeyman."
