The Chelsea Daily Drivel is a daily update of all the stories concerning our club, the rumours, the opinions and more....
So here is the latest from around the web on Tuesday 15th June 2010 including: More on Yossi Benayoun and Didier Drogba given the ok by Fifa to play today against Portugal.
The future of Yossi Benayoun and the reported 4-year deal he will sign at Chelsea continues to make the news and headlines all over the place. As I have mentioned on here before Benayoun himself has said he will sign for Chelsea but there are reports coming from Liverpool that no deal has been agreed at all despite reports coming from Israel. I still don't see the point on this one at all as he is two years older than Joe Cole and is not a regular starter in the Liverpool side!
Now to the good news that Didier Drogba has been given the ok to play today against Portugal wearing a protective cast on his arm. A spokesperson for FIFA said:
Good luck to Didier who will line up against Kalou for the Ivory Coast and also to Carvalho, Deco and Paulo Ferriera who will feature for Portugal.

"Regarding Didier Drogba, the referee of the match Jorge Larrionda has okayed the cast which Didier Drogba will use to play. The cast has been seen by the Portuguese delegation at yesterday's match co-ordination meeting."

I really can’t see what Yossi Benayoun will bring to Chelsea, please enlighten me if I’m missing something, I really hope they don’t sign him.
