After a seriously drink filled celebration in the Fulham Road, the boys finally convene with massive hangovers to record a whopping title winning 2 hour special edition of the FanCast.
What a day it was on Sunday. The FanCast crew were in the Malt House good and early to down quite a pints to calm the nerves. In all honesty, we didn’t need them. It was game over after the Super Frankie Lampards penalty, and then we were lucky enough to witness Chelsea give Wigan a thorough drubbing by 8 goals. How fitting to win the title with an 8-0 win.Even better the Bridge was rocking with all corners of the ground cheering, chanting and doing the ‘bouncy’! Cue pandemonium, and a post match drinking session by thousands of Chelsea fans that saw us drink most of the pubs in Chelsea dry.
We discuss the match in all its glorious detail in the show and award a Man and Chant of the Match, Guinness and Celery Moment, as well as belting out another Chelsea classic song in we’re out to show the world the way to sing.
Joining the boys on the show is the ‘First Lady’ of Chelsea in America – Beth, who has timed her visit to the UK just right in being there to see us win the Youth Cup Final, Premier League and hopefully, fingers crossed the FA Cup next Sunday. Beth runs the gauntlet in ’60 Second Fan’ and then tells us all about Chelsea in America and supporting Chelsea from the other side of the pond.
Dr Mart, ChelTel, Ross and Chidge were all at the Youth Cup final last week to see Chelsea’s youngsters win the cup for the first time since 1961. Good night had by all and they really are very good. We manage to squeeze in a quick chat about the future of Chelsea too.
After all that, Dr Mart answers all your Chelsea questions in ‘Dear Mart’, and Chidge reads out the best posts from the website and the facebook group in ‘You’re on CFFC’!
