Chidge and the boys are in celebratory mood after enjoying the Victoria pub and the Wembley semi-final victory over Aston Villa on Saturday. All this plus the Man of the Match, Guinness Moment, Celery Moment and Chant of the Match, and also the March Goal of the Month, Dear Mart, You’re on CFFC and a special Wembley song in WOTSTWTWTS!
A historic day for Chelsea and the FanCast lads at Wembley. Chelsea’s 10th Semi-Final win and the boys got to sit and sing together for the first time at the match. Chelsea’s professional disposal of Villa is applauded, but there is a surprise contender for Man of the Match and Guinness moment. Chant of the Match is a simple choice as the boys, having sung non-stop throughout the entire game nominate one of their own.
The Celery moment should go to ChelTel for his crazed performance before during and after the match, especially on the goal celebrations. But thanks to some ugly Villa street urchins yapping at over 1,000 Chelsea fans on their way out, there can be only one choice!
With the camp split as to whether we wanted Sp*rs or Pompey in the Final, the boys turn their attention to the midweek game against Bolton and Saturdays game at 3 Point Lane. With six games to go, an unbeaten run would mean an historic ‘Double’ coming to Chelsea for the first time in the club’s history. We dare to dream of clinching the title at Sp*rs or Anfield. Oh Yes!
In a new slot – “ChelTel gives ‘em Hell”, the part-time legend and full-time Chelsea fan has a rant about media bias against Chelsea. Not for the feint hearted! In WOTSTWTWTS! A seldom heard song written for the 1997 Cup Final is given an airing, and tests the harmonies of the FanCast boys (and eardrums of the listeners) to the max!
All this plus the winner of March Goal of the Month, a bumper edition of Dear Mart including questions on Winstone Bogarde, getting hold of Match day tickets, possibility of a Premier League play off, and the definitive book on Chelsea’s history and Chidge reading out the best posts of the week from the website and Facebook group in ‘You’re on CFFC’.
