I don't know about any of you Chelsea fans who sat and watched the game last night but when the final whistle went I was really happy to see Jose reach the Champions League final once again.
Some Chelsea fans are of the opinion that his time had come at Chelsea, that he didn't really do anything at Chelsea after 2 seasons or even one and a half and just never really took to him but I am one of the many that did.
I, like a lot of other Chelsea fans feel that we have unfinished business with Jose and I am sure he feels the same and watching his Inter side defend with everything that had last night to get the result left me wondering what could of been if only he had still been here.
I miss seeing him on the side of pitch gesturing to the players with his heart on his sleeve just as he did last night. I miss the "us against the world" mentality that he instills in every single player at "his" club and of course the press conferences where the world listens to his every word and I mean his every word. If he has something to say you can't help but want to listen.
He set the tone to the evening last night but declaring to the worlds media that for his Inter side reaching the final is a "dream" but for Barcelona its become an "obession". He stirred them up and had them right where he wanted them.
Lets be honest about the game. Barca had 555 completed passes last night compared to Inter's 67 which tells you everything about the game. Inter were played off the pitch but Barca couldn't break them down. Jose's tactics over the two games had outclassed and outwitted Pep Guardiola who had won everything there was to win last season. Inter broke Barca hearts and saw the game out and are through to the Champions League Final.
For now, love him or hate him I am so pleased for him that he has a chance to win the Champions League once again. On the TV Commentary last night someone said, "Inter will have more chance of winning the Champions League than they have on keeping hold of Jose!" and that maybe true with Real Madrid reportedly waiting in the wings.
For us Chelsea fans, its seems that there will forever be unfinished business with arguably one of the best managers in the world.
