Joe Cole & JT speak out ahead of this weekends games

Joe Cole has stoked the fire to the title race and John Terry has challenged the Chelsea team ahead of this weekend's games.

Joe Cole has put pressure on United in no uncertain terms. He said:

"If United beat Manchester City on Saturday then we know we have to win; if they lose we can put the final nail in the coffin, But we know we can't take anything for granted. We didn't play well against Bolton but we got the result. We have to keep our nerve and not get mixed up in emotion. If we do that we should win game.

Chelsea have never won the Double so we've got a chance to make history. You want to make history, you want to leave your mark. If you're a boxer you want to win as many titles as possible. It's the same for a footballer. It's been a strange season. We are in the FA Cup final and we've not been off the top of the league much - but there's been negativity surrounding the club.

But we've got an exciting four weeks to go until the final and hopefully we'll have the chance to achieve something amazing. I think it has been a good end to the season. In the previous three years when United won the title, they had won with a bit to spare. And in the two years before that, when we won the title, we did it pretty comfortably. But this season has been close."

John Terry has also taken the chance this week to put them emphasis on the Chelsea players to step up in the coming weeks to create history for the club. He said:

"You compete and you compete, always at 100 per cent, and then, when the opportunity arises, you have to seize it, When you seize it, you can make history. We've never won the league and cup double. In my lifetime only Liverpool, Man United and Arsenal have".

So there you have it, Joe & JT have spoken out and the scene is set for a massive day in the Premier League.
