Here are the selected stories that surround Chelsea this morning. Ricardo Rocha hits out at Malouda. Ricardo Carvalho out for 4 weeks. Van Aanholt speaks about his time on loan at Newcastle and Chelsea Reserve team left-back Ben Gordon signs for Tranmere on loan for a month.
Rocha on Malouda
Portsmouth defender Ricardo Rocha has hit out at Florent Malouda after a clash during the game in midweek. After what seemed to be an accidental clash, Rocha was taken off on a stretcher and later onto Hospital with a suspected broken cheekbone. Rocha has bruising to his face and no broken bones but feels as though Malouda deliberatley set out to hurt him. He said:
"I think these kind of actions are dangerous in football and it should have been a red card. He just hit me and did not try to get the ball. At the time I thought I'd broken a bone in my face. I went to hospital because I was not feeling well. The pain was so great I thought something was broken."
Carvalho injury.
Chelsea have been dealt the another blow with the news that Riccy is out of action for four weeks. The news came from the clubs site. The statement read:
"Chelsea Football Club can confirm that Ricardo Carvallho suffered ankle ligament damage in last night's game against Portsmouth. The club will be able to determine over the next 24 hours whether the injury requires corrective surgery, however we can confirm at this point that he'll be out for at least four weeks"

Patrick Van Aanholt.
Patrick Van Aanholt has spoken of his time at Newcastle and Coventry on loan this season after coming on as a substitute against Portsmouth. He said:
"I had a fantastic month on loan at Newcastle, played seven games, and in front of more than 50,000 people, so it was a great experience for me. In the reserves you are only in front of a few hundred, but then I went to Coventry and played in front of 30,000, then Newcastle 52,000, it's a massive difference, unbelievable. I really enjoyed my time there and now I hope I can push on some more."

Ben Gordon.
Chelsea youngster Ben Gordon has signed for Tranmere on loan for a month. Gordon 19 has represented England at Under-17 Level and Tranmere Boss Les Parry spoke of his signing. He said:
"Ben is a talented defender who has a lot of potential. With Zoumana Bakayogo and Aaron Cresswell suspended for the game at Brighton on Saturday, his signing means we don't have to play someone out of position." "Aston Villa is a big, big game for us, We have to forget about this one (Portsmouth) and start to think about Aston Villa. We have to recover quickly and make sure we're going to be ready for the game. It's just important for us to try to keep this distance (one-point gap) so we go to Old Trafford with a lot of confidence and expect something good from the squad there.

Drogba.
Didier has spoken of the knock to his knee on Wednesday night, his goal tally this season and a focus ahead of tomorrow's game with Aston Villa. He said:
"Knowing that I am not taking the penalties and missed a few games, it is maybe the best season I've ever had, But it would be a poor season if I finished top scorer and Chelsea didn't win anything. Winning individual prizes is just a bonus. The knee is painful, but I think it's going to be alright."
We have to concentrate on this game on Saturday and then we'll think about Manchester United. Both games are related. Let's do everything to win the first one and then we will have time to think about United. People have given us a lot of criticism recently, but I think they're fair because we haven't played at our level in the last few weeks. It's difficult when the team is playing so many matches for all of us to be on top of our game, on top of our fitness and right now we have a lot of injured players."
