I think I have heard it all now. In the last couple of days we've heard about "Hardnut" Kalou and his fighting!...yes fighting! (Still can't get over that) and now Yuri Zhirkov is blaming his move to London for his injury problems. The world's gone mad!!. He said in an interview:
"The English doctors see my problems as a reaction of the body to drastic changes - in the climate, lifestyle, training work and in everything else, and no-one can tell me what the medical predictions of my rehabilitation are. The British physicians even consulted with German specialists regarding me. They sent them my X-rays together with the detailed description of the problem but, as far as I understand, they failed to diagnose the problem.
I try to remain optimistic - many players have had such difficulties. I am not the first, not the last. It is a pity that the problems coincided with my move to a new club, but if I keep being distressed the situation will not change. I must work and believe that everything is going to straighten out soon."
If I keep getting distressed at the situation!? What the hell is wrong with you. You are living in a warmer climate, getting paid alot more than you were back home, more than likely a better standard of living, some of the worlds best training facilities at Cobham and the 2 hours a day regimes are taking it out of you!!
Get a grip for god sake, knuckle down like the rest of them and show us what your made of!!
Note: Zhirkov played for Russia tonight as they went out of the World Cup and was sent of in the closing stages. Waiting for the excuse to come out now about how London got him sent off!!!! Not impressed so far!

He didnt choose to have this problem, he cant help how his body reacts, so cut the guy some slack and as for "better living conditions" that was an unnecessary low blow,. u couldnt possibly know how he was living in russia,. No need to get personal with the guy, the doctors were taking x-rays and doing tests on him how is that his fault.
