Ashley Cole and Michael Essien take the plaudits in a typically attritional victory against arch rivals Liverpool, and the boys are delighted at the dent the Chels have given to Liverpool’s title hopes. Have you ever seen Gerrard win the league? Have we F**k!!

In a game where so many of the players gave 100% to, it’s difficult to award a Man of the Match but we do with a little help from the audience. Guinness and Celery moments and Chant of the Match all prove a little easier, and the effort from the 12th man is rightly praised in getting right back at the Scousers at the merest hint of a chant from the away end.
