This afternoon Chelsea travel the short distance to Craven Cottage to take on Fulham in our third game of this Premier League season and after the performance away to Sunderland on Tuesday night you have to say we should be more than confident. But, Fulham is not an easy place to go and get a result as last year proved with our 2-2 draw.
Fulham are coming off the back of their Europa win in midweek and will be confident although they are now without Andy Johnson who is out for 8 weeks after a heavy challenge in the week. But with the likes of Zamora and Dempsey who was the main danger last season they need to be watched.
But, this is a very different Chelsea. The performance on Tuesday night was fantastic and its the most impressive I have seen us play in a long long time. The biggest question for me will be if there will be any changes at all? Maybe Carvalho might come in for Ivanovic after being rested in the week and also Anelka for Kalou but I can't see anything else changing if at all.
Chelsea will more than likely dominate the possession of the game today and its important that we make more chances early in the game and take our chances when we get them. If we can be a bit more clinical then this will be a no brainer for me today. I predict another good performance and another away win this afternoon. 2-0 Chelsea.
Come on the Chels!!
