Mancienne's new four year deal and loan to Wolves

As reported on here on Wednesday Michael Mancienne has re-joined Wolves for the season as his education continues, this time in the Premier League. Not before he signed a new four-year deal at Chelsea which is fantastic news.

Mancienne is one of the brightest English prospects and has already featured in Fabio Capello's England squad and that was before he had played a game for Chelsea. He has been with the club since he was 8 years old and to me is another from the John Terry mould. He knows the heart and soul of the club and the fact that he has signed for four more years shows our commitment to him and Mancienne's to us.

Mancienne joins the list of our promising youngsters who have joined sides on loan to gain vital experience. It seems that not all Chelsea fans approve of the loans, but I have to say with Ancelotti coming to Chelsea with a clear brief, to win back the Premier League and bring the Champions League to the bridge you have to be honest to say would these youngsters ever had a chance in reality this season?
