If the rumours are true it looks as though Michael Mancienne will re-join Wolves on loan for the season as Mick McCarthy looks to bolster his defence in what could prove to be a valuable season for them and for Mancienne.
Mancienne played for Wolves on loan for a period last season and was so well thought of down there they wanted to keep him for the whole of the season. Hiddink wanted him back and he was a regular on the Chelsea bench and was even called up to the full England squad without playing a first team game for Chelsea.
This like the other loan deals that have been struck for our promising youngsters will prove beneficial for Mancienne and for Chelsea and you never know, he could force his way into the World Cup squad.
With Ancelotti reportedly telling Paulo Ferriera that he has a future at Chelsea and Bosingwa rumoured to be off to Bayern Munich, chances will be limited for Mancienne so this is an ideal opportunity for him to play in the Premier League and gain vital experience.
I know people are moaning and wondering why loan these players out to other Premier League sides, but to me, there are two that will play week in week out in the Championship in Betrand and Van Anholt but these guys are much younger than Mancienne, Stoch, Sinclair and Di Santo. The experience the latter will gain by playing in the Premiership will be immense.
If Mancienne goes then good luck to him and I am sure he will be a great asset to Wolves and like I said, you never know what can happen come next summer!
