John Terry - UEFA Club Defender of the Year

Its congratulations to John Terry as today he was named UEFA Club Defender of the Year for last season. This is the third time he was won the award, firstly in 2005 and then again last season so this is two-in-a-row for JT and for me its well deserved. He was up against Pique of Barcelona (who is no competition and is overrated in my book) and Vidic of Man Utd.

JT collected his award from Paolo Maldini and when asked about how he maintains his levels of performance, explained "hard work in training every day and the motivation to get my hands on the Champions League trophy with Chelsea". Let's hope that JT can make it three season running come this time next season as the preview show before the draw shows the Blue Boys lifting the Champions League for the first time!
