Chelsea to pay £45m for Pato, then loan him back?

There is a report in the News of The World this morning that Chelsea are preparing to buy Alexandre Pato for £45m and then loan him straight back to AC Milan. Now its well documented that Carlo Ancelotti likes him alot and wants to bring him to the Bridge, but with Kaka leaving Milan for a silly amount of money Milan don't need to sell another one of their major names this season, so could this deal suit both Chelsea and Milan?.

We don'y need another striker in my opinion as we have more than enough already and Milan would be able to keep him at the San Siro for another season which will give them time to source a replacement.

I think Pato is an exciting player and would be a great addition to the Chelsea ranks. But with Ancelotti saying on Friday that no more signings its strange that this story has broke today. But, as its a loan deal straight afterwards is this one gonna happen? Let's hope so in my book!
