Another milestone for Lampard

With his penalty the other night in our 3-1 win away to Sunderland, Frank Lampard equalled Jimmy Greaves' record of 132 goals for Chelsea as he continues to reach milestone after milestone here at Chelsea. Not bad for a midfielder eh?. Lampard is now fifth equal highest scorer ever for Chelsea but its not his main focus as he continues his Chelsea career. He told chelseafc.com:

"I'm delighted with that. Jimmy is a goal-scoring legend and I'm sure he did it in a lot less games than I did. I'm very pleased to be up there with him and just want to keep on scoring goals for Chelsea, especially important ones that help us win games. Personal ones [achievements] are nice, but not as important as silverware.

When you look back on your career you look at what you won as part of a team. I'm much more proud of winning Premier Leagues and FA Cups with Chelsea. Although the records I've gained and am getting now was something I never thought of when I joined Chelsea. Getting Player of the Year and scoring records are very nice for me personally."

Forever the team player and focused on the team's plight first before his own Frank is looking as sharp as ever and will he make it another 20-goal season for Chelsea to make it 6 seasons in a row?. Let's hope so and with his goals it leads us to glory this season!
